Carnegie Mellon University Energy Club

Carnegie Mellon University Electric Energy Club encourages energy related collaboration and discussion among students, faculty, and industry. We aim to advance club members' awareness of current energy issues, technologies, research on campus, and industry practices. We host student, faculty, and industry speakers, and also make site visits to learn about real world practices.
Starting from Dec. 2018 we initiated Lunch&Learn (Energy L&L) Events that aim at enhancing our knowledge about challenges in energy sector. For detailed information about time and location of upcoming events please subscribe to our official page at:

Energy L&L Event #1: DEC 5, 2018; Title: The Future of Solar Energy
Happy Hour: Feb 13, 2019
NREL Workshop and Career Opportunity: March 22, 2019; Title: Hands-On Renewable Energy Optimization with NREL’s REopt Modeling Tool (see the events page for flyer)
